Two works, exploring behaviour of virtual communities, worth been described in some detail.

NIKITA, another experienced Nomad student, had chosen for his study in this semester a completely new topic, as a response to the current political debate in social media, that some of the popular democratic and anti-war bloggers and influencers are gradually changing their rhetoric from sharp criticism of the war to multiple excuses for it, that is known in the literature as phenomenon of “accepting the evil”. Analysing the texts of the two famous bloggers during the last three years by the method specifying “language anchors” and measuring their attribution by the Large Language Models, Nikita was able to prove, that those buggers did accept new rhetoric, that was particularly clear on the graphs, showing those changes visually.

Most important result of the study, as was mentioned by the Defense Commission, was the development of measuring instrument itself, that can be used by other scholars.

Final defense, continuing the study of virtual political reality, especially relevant for anti-war RF relocant’s, was the work by DIMA, who decided to apply the major features of “strong community” to the subscribers of the TG channels of RF opposition leaders, seeking to measure — in strict numbers 🔢 — the level of the “sense of community” of the subscribers by measuring interactions within these virtual communities. Among multitude of such “virtual groups”, he selected most popular ones, both political (intending to join the Discussion Platform with RF Democratic Forces at PACE) and mass social movements, less politically engaged, in their dynamics through last years, showing non-obvious results of the level of their “internal integrity”.

These research results — in absolute numbers and in their dynamics — are of sharp interest of both RF anti-war activists and their foreign partners, and it is a contribution to the development of various instruments of analysis and assessment of the online communities.
