Congrats, 🎉 everyone!
We have started one of most important and most challenging courses 😉 at Nomad University 🎓 since its first 🥇 semester - The Nomad-Harvard course on Constitution and citizen participation - "We, the citizens!" Constitution for everyone.
Why is it so special?
- It focuses on the US Constitution, during the time of unprecedented attack of US Presidential Administration on Constitutional rights and liberties of American people, whose Constitutional history is the heritage of whole human civilization, providing example of most thoughtful "people vs power" constitutional design of checks and balances
- It is taught in parallel with similar course of Harvard University, joining global campaign of solidarity with Harvard University, resisting Administration pressure in favor of university 🎓 freedoms to provide critical thinking- the core principle, that had made American University education best in the world 🌎
- It is taught first time in ENGLISH 😉, allowing us to invite American experts and citizens to join us in this journey if learning checks and balances work through real examples , when they are been challenged - and we hope to hear from them - live! - through direct connection via skype - right to our classroom!
We are really happy, that the core group are Georgian activists, who care about their Constitutional rights implementation, who are choosing the topics of their Final Course Works on real rights issues they face - learning from American experience of re-inventing citizen democratic participation.
