Born and lived in Central Kazakhstan until school age. He studied the nature of the semi-desert and steppe climate. Throughout his childhood, he watched rockets from the Baikonur Cosmodrome fly overhead.

He went to school and university in Belarus. By education, he is a civil engineer. He lived for three years in a village, in the forest. Since childhood, he has studied plants and wild animals.

During his university years, he spent two summers beyond the Arctic Circle, on the Yamal Peninsula, as part of a student construction team. There, he studied the nature of the tundra, saw a total solar eclipse, and found a mammoth bone.

He has been living in Georgia for more than 7 years and studies its diverse nature. He leads naturalist hikes for children and adults.

During his travels, he adds all plant and animal species he encounters along the way to the iNaturalist app. He has found many rare species, some of which he was the first to add to the app. In Adjara, he has recorded the largest number of species so far — more than 1,000. These observations help scientists in their further work: they are used to create population maps and prepare environmental reports.
